Midfielder Kostiantyn Derevlov opened the scoring for FC Ukraine United for a 1-0 lead at 26 minutes at the St. Joan of Arc ground and it was 1-0 at the break.​​​

Toronto Atomic tied the game 1-1 with a goal by Johnson Luyiga who beat Ukraine United goalkeeper Nazar Lytvyn at the 49th minute mark.

Sergii Ivliev put Ukraine United into a 2-1 lead at 61 minutes and one minute later Luyiga struck his second goal for Atomic to tie the game

2-2.

Toronto Atomic took a 3-2 lead at 85 minutes, a goal by Roman Sakhno and at 88 minutes Ukraine United midfielder Vitaliy Dnistryan found the top corner of the net with a drive from 7 yards past Atomic goalkeeper Ihor Vitiv to salvage a tie for the home side and it was 3-3 at the final whistle.

Ukraine United now have a 5-5-4 WLT record for 19 points in 6th position in the standings, while Toronto Atomic have an improved 6-6-5 record for 23 points in fourth position
