FC UKRAINE UNITED BACK ON TOP AFTER 2-1 AWAY WIN AGAINST REAL MISSISSAUGA


Forward Taras Hromiak opened the scoring at 7 minutes for FC Ukraine United at the Hershey Centre for a 1-0 halftime lead for the visitors against Real Mississauga.

Mississauga’s Brennan McNicol found the net past Ukraine United goalkeeper Oleksandr Popravka to tie the game 1-1 at 75 minutes and eight minutes later following a foul inside the box against Nazar Milishchuk, Ihor Malysh drove a penalty kick low and inside the right post, a 2-1 winner that held to the final whistle. FC Ukraine United return to the top position in the standings with a 7-2-2 record for 23 points following the victory, while Real Mississauga have a 2-4-2 record for 8 points in sixth position.

Next game Ukrainians will play at home Centennial Stadium against Real Mississauga on August 18. Kick-off 21:00
