OSL team FC Ukraine United played their Semi-Final game on Wednesday night against Panathinaikos. Having faced each other multiple times in the last few years, this proved to be a good game from start to finish. Panathinaikos opened the scoring with a fortunate bounce that led to a break away goal. Ukraine United answered shortly after with a beautiful finish from a cross by Michael Bershov. Ukraine continued to put on the pressure resulting in multiple good scoring opportunities while holding their opponents to no shots on net. Unfortunately with Ukraine not capitalizing on their scoring attempts, Panathinaikos was able to get one past the defense to take the lead 2-1. Ukraine continued to press until the end, but were unable to tie the game.
