Evgen Ishchak, Vasyl Chornyi and Andrii Sukhetskyi have led Ukraine United to 4-3 win over Toronto Celtic at Eglinton Flats Stadium on sunday night.
Evgen Ishchak opened the scoring after whipping the ball into the goal at 5th minute. Celtic soon found a reply by scoring a similar goal to level the scores at 1-1. It wasn't long before Ukrainians went ahead again. Center defender Vasyl Chornyi scored second a goal for United on a breakaway. Two minutes before the half time Celtic tied the game again. 2-2 after the first half.
United picked up where they left off after the break, with Andrii Sukhetskyi taking advantage of another defensive lapse from Celtic to score his first of the season. Minutes later Andrii Sukhetskyi was awarded penalty after he was taken down in the box. Evgen Ishchak stepped to the spot and delivered a low shot to the right to beat Celtic's keeper and put the home side to 4-2 lead.
Celtic were throwing everything into both their defensive and attacking efforts as they hunted down United's lead. It paid off with a late consolation goal but it wasn't enough to steal at least a point from Ukraine United.
