Ukraine United forward, Nazar Milishchuk scored the game-tying goal with less than 5 minutes left in the game Sunday, as United and the Vasas settled for a 3-3 tie in Ontario Soccer League Provincial East Division.
The Vasas offensive attack struck first in the opening twenty minutes of play. Less than ten minutes later, Roman Pitsur scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-1 after the first half. Vasas took a lead again in the beginning of the second half scoring on the breakaway. Few minutes later Ukrainians were awarded a penalty kick after a Vasas foul in the box. Forward Roman Pitsur took the shot but hit the crossbar. Less than one minute later, Milishchuk scored his first of two goals on the night to tie the game again.
Hungaria's Sandor SILYE would give Vasas their third lead of the game as he found the back of the net to give the visitor's a 3-2 lead with less than twelve minutes remaining.
Ukriane fought back once again as Milishchuk netted his second score of the day in the 85th minute. Both teams had a shot on goal in the final five minutes but were denied and neither team managed to deliver resulting in a 3-3 tie.
